Even though I was on the DL for the last week of the season, I think the last day may have been the best day I've ever wrapped a season up with. Not only did we win on a walk off HR (which I called was going to happen before the inning), but we brought a special teammate (who I befriended during my experience with the miracle league and who became a friend of many of the guys during the season) on the field with us to go through our pregame stretch routine and the National Anthem with us.
My teammates agree, it was the most fulfilling pregame stretch we had all year. Thanks for making it happen Zach!
