Movember!

Alright folks, as you know, I enjoy a good mustache. With that being said, the month formally known as November is upon us. This year I am joining the worthy cause known as "Movember". Starting today, my mustache will make its glorious return, and this time, it won't just be looking pretty, it will be growing for a cause, to raise money for prostate cancer research and awareness.

Movember has become a world wide movement over the last few years and the time has come for me to go from being a curious spectator on the sidelines, to becoming a serious participant and join the global community of Movember citizens. The way it works is men and women form teams, they grow out their mustaches for the month of November (hopefully just the men do the growing of the stache's) and each teammate attempts to raise money for their team from family, friends, etc...It is obviously for a great cause and it is pretty fun too.

So I guess its time to unveil our team name for our inaugural participation year....don't laugh either..okay laugh.

We are to be called "Team Lumberjack Lips". We chose this because we have 2 to 3 members committed to the team already that have the ability to grow out 5 tool mustaches, which if you are being scouted to be a lumberjack, is the holy grail of lumberjack mustaches and will probably get them picked in the first round of the lumberjack draft.

Anyways, enough with the silliness. TEAM LUMBERJACK LIPS

I will let you know if any other Phillies get involved ( I know this is a big deal down in Australia so I'm hoping some of our Aussies will be participating) and will be sure to post my own team's pictures up so you can get to know more of the Lumberjack Lips' members. We have some promising talent to say the least.
